Harris Offers Veteran Outreach Hours on Feb. 15 in Lewistown
HARRISBURG – Rep. Adam Harris (R-Franklin/Juniata/Mifflin) will be offering veterans affairs outreach hours
by appointment in his district office at
3 Monument Square on the third floor in Lewistown on Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dan Falls, an accredited field service officer from the American Legion Department of Pennsylvania, will be available to assist veterans with a variety of issues.
“Mr. Falls is a tremendous asset to our veteran community, helping them with the benefits they earned with their service to our country,” Harris said. “I am pleased to partner with him and encourage veterans to make an appointment to speak with him.
Falls will assist veterans in filing VA claims for disability compensation, disability increase and rating decision appeals; veteran or surviving spouse pension; burial and death benefits; addition of dependents; dependency and indemnity compensation; as well as other veterans’ benefits. Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion to receive these services.
